Cactus Botanics Increases Content of Anthocyanin in Black Soybean Extract

Cactus Botanics previously introduced its new product Black Soybean Extract earlier this year with Anthocyianin content of 10% at that time. As it is reported that 96 percent of the Anthocyanin in Black soybean Extract is cyanidin-3-glucoside, the company was able to calculate the cyanidin-3-glucoside content as about 9.6%. Cactus Botanics has now improved its extraction process and increased the Anthocyanin content to 15%. Accordingly, the cyanidin-3-glucoside content now reaches 14.4%.

As the cyanidin-3-glucoside fraction of the total Anthocyanin from Bilberry Extract is about 30%, a typical Billberry Extract with 25% Anthocyanin contains 7.5% cyanidin-3-glucoside.
