The deal flow for investment in the nutrition, natural products and supplement industries has stayed steady over the last few years, says Tom Aarts, principal of Nutrition Capital Network (NCN), and co-founder of Nutrition Business Journal. The global recession has kept new funds from entering the market, but existing investors are still interested in strong new brands with a track record of success.
NCN hosts three investor meetings yearly, linking up breakout nutrition businesses with leading financial stakeholders. The next meeting takes place November 15, 2011, in Los Angeles.
