Sneaking a little square at lunch? Don't worry: More research shows new benefits.

Rich in free radical–fighting antioxidant flavanols, cocoa may help keep your vision—and your brain—clear, according to recent research from the United Kingdom’s University of Reading. In the study of 30 adults, eating 35 grams of dark chocolate compared with eating white chocolate improved visual contrast sensitivity and reduced the time required to detect motion direction.
