By all accounts, the future of the probiotics market in the United States looks insanely bright. Loren Israelsen, executive director of the United Natural Products Alliance (UNPA) puts it this way: “Probiotics are only now beginning to develop into what will be one of the most important categories on the food side and the supplement side.”
