Reutter wins silver in final race

US short track speed skating star Katherine Reutter, who is sponsored by Bioenergy Ribose, executed a tricky inside pass and stretched her skate over the line to win a silver medal in the 1000m final in the Winter Olympics in Vancouver Friday night.

Reutter, who had earlier shared in a team bronze in 5000m relay, felt she had finally put together a good race in a final at the Olympics. In earlier races, she had performed well in the preliminary rounds, only to miss out in the finals.

"I think I finally kind of found my niche and how to stay calm and composed out there," Reutter said.
