(New York, NY) August 16, 2006 – Kyowa Hakko has announced it has formed the HealthCare Product Development Center in Tsukuba, Japan, to focus on basic and application research, formulation and development, information services and marketing. The center will be under the direction of Kazuhiro Yamamoto for Kyowa Hakko in Tokyo, Japan.
The center, situated in the heart of the well-known research and science-based town often referred to as Tsukuba Science City, will be home to 40 Kyowa researchers dedicated to supporting new Kyowa product development.
“This is yet another way Kyowa is taking the lead to support our customer products by providing the necessary research, information and data,” says Karen E. Todd, R.D., Kyowa director of marketing.
