RSS

Launching a business in the natural products industry definitely comes with its ups and downs. Fortunately, those who have gone before are more than willing to talk about the journey.

In the first video of a series, eight natural entrepreneurs who exhibited (or launched!) at Natural Products Expo East 2012 share how they've secured funding and dealt with their greatest challenge. We chat with:

  • Sonja Sheasley, Founder, Bum Boosa Bamboo Products
  • Alejandro and Cara Paiuk, Founders, Nutty Cow
  • Katie Jesionowski and Silvia Gianni, Founders, MySuperFoods Company
  • Darren Baker, Founder, Flax Seasoning
  • Kris Whelan, Founder, Blue Buddha Beverages
  • Funlayo Alabi, Founder, Shea Radiance

Very good interviews from small start ups. Why not interview more mature (various stages) and successfully brand finance stories. As well as angels, and PE firms. And show resources such as seminars, and conferences on investment capitol. Might be more encouraging for future start ups and current companies that are struggling.

I would recommend it anyday for a basic all around shaver. but hate it when I have to pull it up again.
