Meat and seafood sales haven’t been too tough for retailers to swallow, according to recent data. Poultry, beef, pork and seafood sales grew 4 percent in conventional channels from 2006 to 2010, according to Rockville, Md.-based market research firm Packaged Facts. Experts attribute the incline to more consumers dining at home, but anticipate modest to steady growth through 2015.
