The global economic downturn has dampened sales growth of vitamins, minerals and other dietary supplements in some major markets worldwide, including Japan, the United Kingdom and Mexico. Brazil, however, is not such a market. In fact, sales in this South American country have been skyrocketing for several years and are anticipated to continue their rise at a steady speed that is well ahead of the growth rates of other top markets.
