Hain Celestial ups its global gamble, adapts to a new class of natural consumers

In moving overseas and into the European market, the Hain Celestial Group has played its cards better than most U.S. natural products companies. Hain's recent acquisition of the U.K.-based Daniels Group was its most significant move yet, singlehandedly raising the company's profile in the entire market—but it took a series of steps, including previous smaller acquisitions, to get to the point where such a sizable purchase was even possible.
