These products may not have labels proclaiming their GMO-free status, but they're among the latest batch of foods, beverage and supplements to receive a green light from the Non-GMO Project to carry the nonprofit's Non-GMO Project Verified label. The organization okayed 118 new products just last month and evidence suggests continued interest from manufacturers as the label increasingly gains traction with consumers. Here's a look at 10 new products to join the movement. For a list of all verified products including UPC codes, visit nongmoproject.org.

Silk is owned by Dean Foods and it contains the toxic thickener Carrageenan.

My family eats a lot of bread, but we cannot find a non-gmo bread. Are there any?
YES!! There is a Non-GMO bread, and it is wonderful!!! My family and I consume it all the time, and love it. It is not wheat, but a different form of wheat (much better in our opinion), and it is Non-GMO project verified since last year. The bread is called "Spelt"--it is an ancient form of wheat/grain that is fabulous and is used mostly in Europe, they prefer it actually. Berlin Natural Bakery makes this Non-GMO wonderful 100% spelt bread (+ other non-gmo all spelt products---bread related). I know you and your family will love it!! Blessings :D
One thing at a time......This is all in baby steps.....No GMO is a good beginning, a great beginning........
The non gmo project has a category for everything.
The U.S. is attempting to outlaw non-GMO labeling of foods, thereby making it illegal for a non-GMO food product to even claim "non-GMO" on the label. This would result in a global GMO cover-up as consumers are left in the dark about whether their foods are genetically modified or not. The original Vegenaise is made with canola oil. You can use the Grapeseed Oil Vegenaise, Organic, Reduced Fat or the Soy Free version.
