The problem for some of these products remains even if they go GMO free.

Silk is owned by Dean Foods and it contains the toxic thickener Carrageenan.

Canola oil in any form is hepatotoxic ( dangerous to liver health) and a trans fat.

Soy is not a health promoting food even in oil form.

Canola oil is in Vegenaise.

My family eats a lot of bread, but we cannot find a non-gmo bread. Are there any?

YES!! There is a Non-GMO bread, and it is wonderful!!! My family and I consume it all the time, and love it. It is not wheat, but a different form of wheat (much better in our opinion), and it is Non-GMO project verified since last year. The bread is called "Spelt"--it is an ancient form of wheat/grain that is fabulous and is used mostly in Europe, they prefer it actually. Berlin Natural Bakery makes this Non-GMO wonderful 100% spelt bread (+ other non-gmo all spelt products---bread related). I know you and your family will love it!! Blessings :D

The U.S. is attempting to outlaw non-GMO labeling of foods, thereby making it illegal for a non-GMO food product to even claim "non-GMO" on the label. This would result in a global GMO cover-up as consumers are left in the dark about whether their foods are genetically modified or not. You can learn more about GMO labeling at http://geneticallyengineeredfoodnews.com

The original Vegenaise is made with canola oil. You can use the Grapeseed Oil Vegenaise, Organic, Reduced Fat or the Soy Free version.
